It’s an essential skill for today’s performers in Aotearoa’s screen industry. Whatever character you are playing, orcs, goblins, animals, insects, fantasy beings, mocap roles, or full-body suit characters. The fundamentals stay the same and require consistent practice to develop strength, clarity, and confidence in your performance.We also provide our students with the chance to practice and develop what they learn during our stunt training sessions, with access to a full range of stilts to train on as part of their creature work progression.This creature workshops introduce students to:<ul><li>The blend between acting and stunt performance</li><li>Embodying non-human characters safely and convincingly</li><li>Breath, rhythm, and physical intention</li><li>Vocal textures, presence, and creature sounds</li><li>Instinct-driven movement and reactive performance</li></ul>This training expands each performer’s creative range, strengthens their physical toolkit, and builds confidence in bringing unique, memorable creatures to life across film, television, mocap, and live action.
