Course Description

Whether you work in film, television, or theatre, this course is designed to help you establish a practical, safety-first approach to planning stunts and action scenes.

You’ll learn how to identify risks, assess hazards, and build a workflow that keeps your cast and crew safe — while meeting industry safety expectations.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Identify key hazards involved in stunt and action sequences

  • Break down complex scenes into manageable, risk-assessed tasks

  • Use a simple 3x3 risk matrix to evaluate and prioritise hazards

  • Draft and submit a basic JSA that aligns with on-set health and safety standards

  • Deliver a simple safety briefing based on your JSA
